About Me

You’ve built the career. The income. The life that looks good on paper.

But somewhere between the back-to-back meetings and the never-ending mental load, a quiet question has started surfacing: Can I afford to slow down?

I work with senior professional women – leaders in their 40s and 50s, who are asking exactly that.

High-performing, high-earning, and quietly exhausted. Not ready to stop, but wanting options.

What I do

Over 18 years as a financial consultant, I’ve sat with hundreds of women in that exact tension. And what I’ve learned is this: the answer is almost always yes – but only when the financial foundation is built the right way.

I specialise in hybrid retirement planning: designing a financial structure that generates passive income so you can step back from the grind on your own terms.

Not full retirement. Not burning out. Something in between, and entirely yours.

When the financial foundation is solid, you finally have permission to slow down. That’s where real freedom starts.

My own journey brought me here

I started my career in financial planning in 2008, working with women and families on protection and wealth planning.

But it was stepping into my own 40s, alongside my clients, that shifted my focus to something more specific: retirement. Not the traditional kind, but the kind where you get to keep working, just differently.

The shift became deeply personal after Covid. The economic uncertainty of those years made me look hard at my own finances and ask:

If my income became irregular tomorrow, would I be okay?

That question pushed me to intentionally build up passive income streams to give myself stability and choices.

Last year I made a deliberate career move. I left the comfort of a tied agency to join a financial advisory firm where I can offer clients a truly holistic range of solutions, better suited to planning for hybrid retirement. It was a change I had been preparing for financially, and having that foundation in place made all the difference.

Living through the transition gave me something no textbook can – the real, felt experience of what financial security actually enables. The freedom to choose, not just survive, a major change.

That’s exactly what I help my clients build.

As a working mum of two girls, this work is personal in the most grounded way. The trade-offs are real, the questions are ones I’ve asked myself, and the plan I build for my clients is one I’ve built for myself too – not in theory, but in practice.

Retirement doesn’t have to be all or nothing

When I started talking to women in my network about hybrid retirement: the idea of stepping back from full-time work while staying engaged through flexible, meaningful work, something clicked.

Almost everyone I spoke to said the same thing: I don’t want to stop working entirely, I just want to have the choice to do what I like.

That resonance is what led me to start the Hybrid Retirement in Action series – interviews with real women in Singapore who have already made this transition. Their stories are living proof that it’s possible and a practical guide to what it takes to get there financially. You can read the series on LinkedIn, and I’ll be bringing the interviews to this site soon.

Hybrid retirement isn’t a distant goal.

For most of the women I work with, it’s something that can start taking shape in their 40s, with the right income and investment foundation built now.

A little more about me

I’ve been a licensed financial planner in Singapore since 2008, with a focus on retirement income planning, investment and protection for women. Over the years I’ve helped hundreds of clients grow and protect their wealth, build passive income portfolios, and plan for a retirement that reflects how they actually want to live.

I write about money, retirement and women’s financial independence on this site and on LinkedIn, where I also publish the Hybrid Retirement in Action interview series. My insights on women and retirement have also been featured in Her World magazine.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me chilling over a cup of chai latte at a cafe or relaxing with my family at home.

Let’s talk about your next chapter

If you’re a senior professional woman wondering what your next chapter could look like, I’d love to connect. Let’s have a real conversation about what financial freedom means for your life — where you are now, and where you want to be.

I work with a small number of clients at a time so I can give each person my full attention.
