Fun at the Cashflow Game for Ladies

Recently Women Enrich Network organised a cashflow game for a group of ladies and we all had a great time!

What’s the cashflow game all about?

The cashflow game is a board game designed by Robert Kiyosaki, author of the book “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”.

This game teaches the concepts of personal financial management and investment strategies to get out of the rat race and enjoy financial freedom.

In the game, each player takes on a different profession e.g doctor, engineer, teacher or even janitor, each with his or her own set of financial statement (monthly income, expenses, assets and liabilities).

The objective of the game is to get out of the rat race and the way to do so is by building passive income through investments until

Passive Income > Monthly Expenses => OUT OF RAT RACE!

Along the way, there will be opportunities like stock investments, real estate or business deals to deal with, just like in real life.

Some investments have the potential to generate capital gains (e.g when the stock doubles in value), while others can generate immediate cash flow (e.g real estate deals). How you make use of opportunities and manage your cash flow will determine how fast you can get out of the rat race.

Learning through play

This is an exciting and highly experiential way to learn about finance and investing. Who says finance is boring? With this game, you will learn through play and take home practical financial management skills.

If you have ever thought of investing but have held back because of the fear of losing money, this game is perfect for you! You will get to learn and apply investing concepts without risking any real money. Plus you will also discover more about your investing preferences and your level of risk tolerance.
